This 86 x 117mm (3-7/16 x 4-5/8 inches) 'Mr. Frosty' polycarbonate freezing container with a blue high-density polyethylene closure provides the critical repeatable -1°C/minute cooling rate required for successful cell cryopreservation and recovery. It requires only 100% isopropyl alcohol and a mechanical freezer. The container is labeled with graphic step-by-step instructions and holds up to 18 vials. Designed for use with size 1.0-2.0 cryogenic vials. The white high-density polyethylene vial holder prevents vials from contacting alcohol thus there is no contamination by wicking or removal of labels or printing on vials. Containers with alcohol can be stored at room temperature saving freezer space. Material: polycarbonate with blue HDPE closure and a white HDPE vial holder and foam insert. Capacity: 18 vials.
