NEW Japanese kotatsu heater fan unit low style foot warmer500w METRO Japan

This heater is a quality unit. The metal surfaces are covered in a felt type of material to prevent any danger of a burn with direct skin contact. It will heat up our custom over sized kotatsu in just a minute or two....I was surprised at how quickly it came up to temperature. We have the thermostat set well below halfway, and it's toasty warm under there. Perhaps the voltage difference (Japan 100v vs. US 120v) makes the unit operate faster. All of which was an initial concern for me, but the thermostat works well and once we got the temperature dialed in, it seems to heat up the space very quickly and stay just right.
