Just age sixteen, Majesty Grayraven is confused about life, but shortly learns that with a baby coming into the world, she'd have to shape up and toughen up. When her baby's father is taken away to serve time for what he's done in the streets, Majesty teaches herself to hate him, to regret him, and resent him for the hurt he's caused her. Now with a five year old son, growing each and every day, Brandon, Majesty's first love, returns to reclaim his family and the love of his life. She constantly pushes him away, but is steadily trapped and captivated by what used to be between she and her first love. With an abusive ex on her heels, and her son loving his father, Majesty finds herself in more of a difficult situation than she's ever imagined. She has to learn to put all of that aside to make peace with herself, before trying to conquor this life of hers with a new partner.
