The action takes place in Wimbledon, outside London, Hever Castle in Kent, Odessa and Sevastopol in Ukraine and Galway on the western coast of Ireland. Both Ralph and Katie are threatened by a killer who will stop at nothing to succeed. Ralph finds that his athletic pursuits can be every bit as dangerous as his work for the government. He must grapple with villains, both at home and abroad, while testing both his athletic abilities and his loyalty to Queen and Country, before the mystery can be played out. Once more Thurbin provides a well-crafted mystery that will keep the reader guessing until the very end.
