All strips are water proof via a silicone coating on the strip. All strips also have silicone protecting both ends of the strip from water. 5' of wire comes included on each strip which, in most cases, is plenty to install the lights. The strips come with 3M adhesive backing on them to allow for easy installation. Because these are LED lights you can run them for hours without draining your battery!
