Two Modes for a Second Display
- Mirror Mode. It allows you to enjoy an increadible experience watching movies or making professional presentations in the meeting room with a shared screen.
- Extend Mode. It enables you to extend your desktop area or work area. (e.g. shopping on your Mac while watching TV on other monitor).

Important Notes
- It is not a bi-directional adapter and cannot transmit signals from vga to mini DP, from HDMI to mini DP, from DVI to mini DP
- A separate HDMI / DVI / VGA cable (not included) is required
- Macs made before 2010 are NOT able to output audio over Mini DisplayPort
- No audio signal can be transmitted via DVI or VGA
- It can only transmit signals in the following four ways:
(1) Mini DisplayPort to HDMI
(2) Mini DisplayPort to VGA
(3) Mini DisplayPort to DVI
(4) Mini DisplayPort to HDMI + DVI
