The Story Behind the Model
At first glance, one might assume that the Gold Knight of Nice is a character taken out of an old King Arthur legend. However, his gold-plated armor realistically represents how typical knights appeared throughout the medieval period. Many elite soldiers of the time were given similar-looking armor for use in battle and jousting. It usually consisted of metal pieces (including gauntlets and a breastplate), which were specially tailored to fit that particular knight. Kit features light grey molding, a removable helmet, a sword and a horse with armor and accessories. If you like this model, don't miss the Red Knight of Vienna and The Black Knight of Nurnberg.

Helpful Hints For Building
Your Gold Knight with Horse is a Level 2 kit - it is for intermediate model builders. Parental supervision is suggested. Always study the assembly drawings included in the packaging before beginning. Each part is identified by a part number.Trimming to remove extra plastic and filing to smooth before part assembly is suggested. For better paint and decal adhesion, wash the plastic parts in a mild detergent solution. Rinse and let air dry. Check the fit of each piece before cementing in place. Allow paint to dry thoroughly before handling parts.
