Molecular Models MMM-VA540 146-Piece VSEPR Theory Advanced Molecular Models Set
The Molecular Models MMM-VA540 VSEPR theory advanced molecular models set includes 72 color-coded plastic atom parts, 19 lone pairs, and 55 bonds in a storage box. This model set allows instructors in grades 7 through university to demonstrate the predicted structure of molecules according to valence-shell electron-pair repulsion (VSEPR) theory, and provides students with a hands-on activity to model a variety of geometric molecular shapes. The atom parts, lone pairs, and links for assembling models are made from durable plastic and are color coded to national standards for ease of identification. Atom parts measure 9mm in diameter and represent carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, chlorine, sulfur, nitrogen, phosphorus, metal, bromine, iodine and fluorine. It comes with 19 lone pairs, 55 20mm bonds, a storage box, and instructions.
Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.
Molecular Models Company manufactures molecular models for science education. Founded in 1967, the company is headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin.
