Milliard Peanut Ball Physio Roll for Exercise, Therapy, Labor, Birthing and Dog Training…
Milliard Peanut Ball uses:
Labor - The peanut ball is placed between the legs to assist in birthing, specifically in epidural births when mom has to stay in bed. For this application, we suggest using a 45 or 50 inch peanut ball.
Children's Therapy - Recommended by physical therapist to help with gross motor strengthening as it encourages balance and stabilization of the core. The peanut ball is uni-directional making is safer in therapy than a traditional large round ball. Also great for the sensory child looking for vestibular input. Fidgety children and teens prefer using the peanut ball as a saddle seat rather than a traditional chair.
What size ball should I get my child? Measure from the tip of your child's fingers to his armpit. Chose a ball sized within 2" to ensure that your child will sit on the ball securely.
Fitness - Use to perform stretches and crunches in Pilates, yoga and core training. As the peanut ball only moves in 1 direction, its the perfect alternative for those who experience difficulty in balancing on a round ball.
Rehab - Position around the body to help elevate the feet or relieve back pain.
Dog Training - Used for advanced core conditioning for both sporting and working dogs, as well as for animal rehab and therapy. The peanut shape is long enough for a canine's four legs, letting them stand in their natural stance with a straight back and relaxed neck.
