MicrOptix i-LAB VCU-200 Handheld Visible Analyzing Spectrophotometer, 400 to 700nm Wavelength Range, with Cuvette Adapter
The MicrOptix i-LAB VCU-200 handheld visible analyzing spectrophotometer provides real-time 400 to 700 nanometer (nm) visible spectral measurement of solids in a backlit LCD display, has an integrated surface reader, calibrator, and Microspectral Analysis sensing system, and comes with datalogger software. A spectrophotometer is a device used to conduct color wavelength measurements of liquids and solids in industrial, commercial, homeland security, and household applications.
This i-LAB spectrophotometer has an integrated i-LAB Microspectral Analysis sensing system for field measurements. The meter combines flexible custom measurements with a cuvette adapter, for measuring liquids and displaying reflectance color measurements. The meter can conduct transmission method measurements with its sample adapter. The backlighting feature can be set on a timer. The meter stores the visible spectrum of samples for data transfer. Included i-LAB Spectrum software allows users to create and transfer customized measurement options to the spectrophotometer. An included standard 10" mini-USB port and cable are used to download spectral measurements. The i-LAB 400 spectrophotometer comes with a protective cap. It weighs 7.4oz. for portability in a variety of field and process plant color analysis applications. The MicrOptix i-LAB meets American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) E308 and E313 standards.

A spectrophotometer is a device used to measure and analyze aspects of light absorption in liquids and solids. Readings are displayed in digital or analog format. A spectrophotometer can have a handheld body for field use, or a bench-top body for laboratory applications. It may have one or more adapters to enable it to measure surfaces or liquids. A spectrophotometer is used for testing and measuring in anatomy, chemistry, agriculture, process plant, food and beverage making, homeland security, and educational applications.
