Mettler Toledo InLab Expert Pro-ISM pH Sensor, with Fixed Cable, For S220 SevenCompact pH/Ion Meters
The Mettler Toledo 30014096 InLab Expert Pro-ISM pH sensor is a combination (full-cell) pH electrode with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), polyether ether ketone (PEEK) body, solid polymeric electrolyte, double open junction, Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) plus phono connector, and 1.2m (4') cable. A pH electrode is commonly attached to a pH meter to measure the pH of a substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial, and food applications. This electrode has a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) sensor that provides ATC for accurate readings in fluctuating temperatures. The 120mm high PEEK body with 12mm outside diameter provides chemical resistance. The Argenthal reference system consists of a cartridge with a reservoir of silver chloride (AgCl) that reduces reference contamination. A solid polymer electrolyte and double open junction prevents clogging for long electrode life. The BNC plus phono connector provides tight cable connections. The electrode comes with a 1.2m (4') cable.

A pH meter, also called a sensor or tester, is a device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. A pH meter has either a portable or a benchtop body. Many portable meters are handheld devices. Some testers have an internal sensor, and may have a tip and body that fit inside of a container for measurement. A meter is commonly used in many different environments, from laboratories to field research and manufacturing facilities. Researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists use a pH meter in aquaculture, agriculture, wine-making, and water-testing, and for scientific applications. Some pH meters may measure additional parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity (also called electro-conductivity or EC), temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, resistivity, or oxygen reduction potential.
