Grass Valley EDIUS 7.x & 8 users can now get the power of the Mercalli V4 stabilization technology as a plug-in. Mercalli V4 Stabilizr allows clips in the EDIUS timeline to be processed individually or as a batch and delivers superior image stabilization with minimal zoom-in/cropping of the clip to maximize resolution. Mercalli V4 Stabilizr allows clips to be "faded" at the beginning/end of the clips. Stabilization can be fully automatic or advanced manual adjustments can be made for optimal results. Full live preview of the stabilized video is displayed and processed clips are automatically added back to the EDIUS timeline.

For best results, its recommended to also use the Mercalli V4 cmosFIXR plug-in to correct CMOS wobble/vibration/jello before stabilizing for optimal video.
