Mason SLR-A-75 Steel Seismic and Wind Floor Mount Vibration Isolator, 75lbs Capacity, 1.50" Deflection, 50lbs/in Spring Constant, 5-1/8" Height, Orange
This Mason SLR-A-75 floor mount vibration isolator supports rooftop machinery to reduce noise and vibration and counteract the effects of wind or seismic activity. The neoprene friction pad on the base provides a non-skid surface, and the pressed steel housing provides impact and fatigue resistance. The mount secures a heavy-duty steel spring for increased load capacity and has an acoustical pad beneath the springs for additional noise reduction. Neoprene vertical limit stops on each side of the mount absorb shock. The base has two bolt holes for rigid mounting in seismic zones, and a cap screw and adjustment bolt are provided for attachment and leveling. The friction pad can be removed for the mount to be welded in position. This vibration isolator is suitable for use with HVAC systems or other rooftop machinery.

Shock and vibration control products (absorbers, mounts, and pads) reduce air and structure-borne dissonance by either blocking or absorbing sound waves, or damping or isolating vibrations that cause them. Shock absorbers, vibration damping mounts, and vibration damping pads can extend equipment life and help protect work environments, and they are most commonly used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or in other large machinery operations. Weight distribution determines the number of mounts or pads needed. If evenly distributed, the maximum load capacity per mount or pad should equal the total weight of the machine divided by the number of mounting points available.
Mason Industries manufactures noise reduction, vibration isolation, and seismic restraint control products such as mountings, hangers, and flexible connectors for mechanical equipment. The company, founded in 1958, is headquartered in Hauppauge, NY.
