Mason ND-A-Black Neoprene Double Deflection Floor Mount Vibration Isolator, 5/16"-18 x 3/4" Thread, 1-3/16" Diameter, 15-45lbs Load Rating, 0.35" Deflection, Black
This Mason ND-A-Black floor mount supports lightweight indoor machinery to reduce structurally transmitted noise and vibration. It has steel transfer plates on top and bottom for durability and distributing loads, and the mount is made of neoprene to prevent corrosion of the steel parts and to provide a non-skid surface and maximum vibration isolation. It has a tapped hole with cap screw and washer on top for mounting to the machine and bolt holes on the bottom for mounting to a floor or base. This tall neoprene mount allows for deflection in two directions for increased noise reduction. This floor mount is suitable for use with punch presses, brakes, shears, lathes, milling machines, and injection molding machines.

Shock and vibration control products (absorbers, mounts, and pads) reduce air and structure-borne dissonance by either blocking or absorbing sound waves, or damping or isolating vibrations that cause them. Shock absorbers, vibration damping mounts, and vibration damping pads can extend equipment life and help protect work environments, and they are most commonly used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or in other large machinery operations. Weight distribution determines the number of mounts or pads needed. If evenly distributed, the maximum load capacity per mount or pad should equal the total weight of the machine divided by the number of mounting points available.
Mason Industries manufactures noise reduction, vibration isolation, and seismic restraint control products such as mountings, hangers, and flexible connectors for mechanical equipment. The company, founded in 1958, is headquartered in Hauppauge, NY.
