Mason BBNR6X6 Natural Rubber Bridge Bearing Vibration Isolation Pad, 6" Length x 6" Width x 1" Thick
This Mason Industries BBNR6X6 bridge bearing 6x6" vibration isolation pad reduces noise, high frequency vibration, and impact where loadings per square inch are high. These vibration isolation pads are made of natural rubber for durability and maximum vibration isolation. They are solid for high tensile strength and elongation for added deflection, and the material contains antioxidants and anti-ozonants for longer life. They can be stacked with 1/8" steel plates between them for higher deflections and greater efficiency. These vibration isolation pads are suitable for supporting bridges, highway overpasses, buildings or components such as structural floors or secondary floating floors.

Shock and vibration control products (absorbers, mounts, and pads) reduce air and structure-borne dissonance by either blocking or absorbing sound waves, or damping or isolating vibrations that cause them. Shock absorbers, vibration damping mounts, and vibration damping pads can extend equipment life and help protect work environments, and they are most commonly used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or in other large machinery operations. Weight distribution determines the number of mounts or pads needed. If evenly distributed, the maximum load capacity per mount or pad should equal the total weight of the machine divided by the number of mounting points available.
Mason Industries manufactures noise reduction, vibration isolation, and seismic restraint control products such as mountings, hangers, and flexible connectors for mechanical equipment. The company, founded in 1958, is headquartered in Hauppauge, NY.
