It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut on panels up to 1-1/4" thick or for panels of any thickness with the mounting compression plate and four screws. The socket is rated for 15 amps at 12 volts. Weight 1 oz. Draws no power when not in use, so it can't run down your battery. Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug and a locking plug.
