Engineerd with unprecendented fidelity, Marantz HDAM discrete circuit technology and high resolution CS4398 Digital-to-Analog converter breathes life into your music. Contructed to minimize distortion and vibration, the CD tray mechanism is mounted directly to the chassis. Further prevention has also been considered by placing the digital audio circuitry in a shielded section. Pair the CD6005 with the matching Marantz PM6005 integrated amplifier for a seamless audio system, or hook to your existing system to vastly improve your audio playback. Listen to your music the way that you want with the CD6005. Capable of playing CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW discs you can easily place a disc in the tray or playback WAC, AAC, WMA and MP3 files from the USB port. The CD6005 is also iPod®, iPhone®, and iPad control compliant and will allow you to use the CD Players remote to control your Apple device. Use your existing USB cable to connect to the front USB port and charge your Apple product. The front USB panel works with a variety of USB storage devices and will use the D/A converter from the CD player to bring out new levels of detail.
