The Maple Tapper Green Spiles with Hooks kit contains 10 - 7/16" Green plastic Spiles with hooks. The plastic spiles are a well-made food grade quality product that is reusable from season to season. The 7/16" spile is the traditional size spile used for generations. Although there are the smaller "tree saver" spiles available, this larger spile is a good choice for the larger maple trees using one in place of 2 smaller spiles. These spiles have bucket hooks attached to them to hang your maple collection buckets or containers, making this a tubeless production.
