Major General Dutch Remkes graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1977, completed his pilot training at Reese Air Force Base, Texas, in December 1978 and is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Fighter Weapons School. A command pilot with more than 2,700 hours of flight time, his commands include a squadron, group, wing and the Air Force Recruiting Service. He has flown the T-37, T-38, T-1, C-130, F-4, F-16 and the F-15. Before retiring on October 1, 2009, he served as Director of the Air Component Coordination Element at Air Force Central Command in Kabul, Afghanistan. Fine condition.
