Magid ROC GP139 Polyester Glove, Gray Polyurethane Palm Coating, Knit Wrist Cuff, 10.5" Length, Size 10 (One Dozen)
The Magid ROC GP139 work glove has a white knit polyester shell and wrist cuff, a gray polyurethane coating on the palm and fingers, and helps protect hands against minor cuts and abrasions. It is suitable for use in construction, manufacturing, do-it-yourself, and other environments under wet or dry conditions. The knit shell and wrist cuff are made of 13-gauge black polyester, which dries more quickly than nylon or cotton. The black polyurethane coating on the palm and fingers facilitates gripping objects under wet or dry conditions and resists wear. The knit wrist cuff has an elasticized edge to help hold the glove in place on the hand. The glove's size number is printed on the back of the glove and the wrist cuff is color-coded to facilitate the visual identification of the glove's size. This glove is manufactured to comply with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Level 1 standards for cut resistance.
Work gloves help protect the hands, can cover the wrists, and sometimes extend to cover part, or all, of the arm. Work gloves are typically constructed from leather or heavy cotton and are suitable for use in construction, mechanical, landscaping, and do-it-yourself applications to help protect against minor cuts and abrasions. Work gloves for use in manufacturing and construction industries can be made of woven, high-strength synthetic fiber, to resist cuts from heavy machinery and withstand high levels of heat without melting. Work gloves may also be made of, or include, flame retardant material, for use in welding and other heavy-duty applications.
Magid Glove & Safety manufactures gloves, protective clothing, first aid supplies, and personal protective equipment. The company, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Chicago, IL, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001:2008.
