My Pet Boris
A Beautiful Magic Trick
For the I-Phone
My Pet Boris the spider has a friend named Natasha, a beautiful butterfly.
If you perform My Pet Boris and know the audience is afraid of spiders and cockroaches then you need to use Natasha the Butterfly.
My Pet Boris the Butterfly utilizes the smart phone as a familiar object that is endlessly fascinating to people instead of introducing it as a magic trick. The technology allows for video, animation and vibration that involves multiple senses and increased interest.
The Butterfly is perfect for the younger audience, after all who does not like butterflies.
The Effect - with the Butterfly (5 per package)
AT THIS TIME ONLY AVAILABLE FORE THE I-PHONE
Present this as a cool new smart phone app that merges the spectators own body with computer generated images to create a form of augmented reality that is incredibly realistic.
Ask the spectator to hold out their hand so you can take a picture of their palm, secretly loading the butterfly on the back of their hand, then place the phone on their palm and introduce Natasha.
The animation and shadowing make it look like the butterfly is actually on the screen. They can even feel him move because of the phone's vibrator.
Natasha flies around the screen and then flies off only to return a few moments later.
I take the phone back and ask them to try. When they wave their hand over the screen, they notice out of the corner of their eye, a realistic butterfly clinging to the back of their hand and they smile!
The price for the 5 pack Butterfly is $14.95 (plus tax in for California residents).
5 realistic looking butterflies
5 adhesive dots

1 Small Egg and Green Wrap
