MadgeTech MicroTemp Rugged Submersible Miniature Temperature Data Logger
The MadgeTech MicroTemp submersible, miniature (2.6 x 0.7 inches / 66 x 18 mm [H x W]) datalogger stores up to 32,767 temperature measurements, is submersible to 150 feet, has a programmable start time with real-time operation, and records temperature time and date stamp in degrees C, F, K or R. A datalogger is a data storage instrument and is used in shipping, storage, laboratories, factories, refrigerators, freezers, incubators, dessicators, and greenhouses.
This datalogger is enclosed in stainless steel 316 (food-grade) for fluid and gas resistance. It is small enough to fit in the neck of many beverage bottles. The device has an alarm with programmable high and low limits that activates when temperature reaches or exceeds set limits. A green light blinks to indicate that the device has started, and a red light blinks if an alarm condition exists. Real-time recording can be used with a computer to monitor and record data. The MicroTemp comes pre-calibrated, and works with required IFC202 software and interface cable (sold separately). The USB interface is 38,400 baud. The datalogger works with Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. The MicroTemp is National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST)-traceable (certificate not provided).
