MUSYSIC's audio engineers have specifically designed the new MU-Series power amplifiers to be perfect companions to the popular Club Series loudspeakers. To achieve this, they made sure that the amplifiers are capable of delivering power that matches the power handling capabilities of the Club Series Speakers, and equipped them with ATR (Accelerated Transient Response) technology for ultimate punch and clarity to deliver a signal that will result in optimum system performance. Build-in Crossover: Low Cut Switch: This switch is used to activate to LOW CUT filter for the corresponding channel. It is again a push-push type switch, requiring a small "tool" to activate. The IN position routes the input signals through the LOW CUT filter, while the OUT position bypasses the filter. This filter will cut extremely low frequencies, protecting speakers from the possibility of over-excursion. The filter low-frequency roll off is 12dB per octave. The LOW CUT filter for each channel will function independently of the crossover function to be discussed next. Crossover Switch (150Hz X Over): This switch is used to activate the fixed 150Hz crossover for the corresponding channel. it is also a push-push type switch and requires a small "tool: to activate. This offer a 150Hz crossovers and specially designed features that enhance the response of most loudspeakers in a typical bi-amped application. Rather than just having a flat output curve, these crossovers use special filter to tailor the response and provide a flat acoustical output. This type of crossover "sounds" more natural than conventional "state-variable" type crossovers.
