MG217 Medicated Tar Ointment Psoriasis Treatment. For the relief of these symptoms associated with psoriasis and/or seborrheic dermatitis: Itching; Scaling; Flaking; Redness; Irritation of the skin. Helps prevent recurrence. This product is formulated with coal tar to help slow the rapid growth of skin cells and restore the skin's appearance. Coal tar is the only non-prescription active ingredient that works by slowing down excessive cell reproduction. Directions:  Apply to affected areas one to four times daily or as directed by a physician.
