No need to modify your Master clippers in any way, this blade is prepared to cut a little closer than the standard Master blade. It is not like a "Fade" blade. It is a standard Master blade that goes a little closer to help you take the line out of your fades. It also has our unique black coating which prevents rust on the moving blade. AND just to show you how much we appreciate your business we include with each blade the 2 screws for putting the blade on your clipper, they are standard screws which can be used with any blade for your Andis Master.
