The LV-ProxSonar-EZ1 has a detection zone of ~5 feet and will allow for 8 or more simultaneous sensors.

The LV-ProxSonar-EZ ultrasonic proximity sensor is a small component module. Features include people detection, side by side operation, multi-sensor environments, auto calibration, no dead zone, calibrated beam patterns, stable proximity readings. Available outputs include serial, digital high/low.

The LV-ProxSonar-EZ products are low cost ultrasonic proximity sensors that provide a component module solution that offers easy to use outputs, no sensor dead zone, calibrated beam patterns, stable range readings, low power demands, and a host of other features.

The LV-ProxSonar-EZ functions throughout a 2.5V to 5.5V operational voltage range. This allows for easy integration at either 3.3V or 5V which means that users of low voltage microcontrollers, or those who wish to operate in solar or battery based systems, do not have to provide an extra power supply for the sensor.

The LV-ProxSonar-EZ sensors have a 2mA average current draw during free ranging operation.
