JaQuanna, is trapped in a difficult situation, when she and her little brother,
Ricky, find themselves imprisoned in their own home, beneath the drunken, watchful
eye of their mother's abusive boyfriend, Benny. A leering eye which watches too closely, making JaQuanna uncomfortable, as she vows to go whenever, wherever, however
to protect herself and defend the brother she loves.

Not just your average thug: Head of the Wall St. Boys, Kirk Jr., is a budding young boss and, after a rich history of blood fueds and street politics, he is now next in line to claim the throne of kingpin status, within his Kennedy-like family of street hustlers. He's got a thing for JaQuanna, and when she approaches with her
secret troubles, he pauses, but doesn't deny her.

After Benny has died and JaQuanna is rushed off to Juvie, she returns a few years later, to a whole new world: a world filled with glitz, glamour, and riches beyond compare. Boss bitch status, with a billionaire boyfriend, but, temptation has her torn, when Mark suddenly reappears.

In the shades of shadow: Mark is a God-send with NBA aspirations. He knew his mother
had been a drug addict and prostitute, and he had no desire to run the streets.
So, he carves a lane of a different path, all while never forgetting that chubby little girl who rang the bell of his heart so long ago. Yelling I GOT NEXT, he pursues, JaQuanna, at every turn, eventually forcing her to choose whether to love or to be loved.
