Given that Paris is one of the great international hubs, it's not surprising that Paris Combo's music applies imported influences like Manouche (Gypsy) swing a la Django Reinhardt, American bebop, and North African rhythms to a base of sophisticated French chanson. This album is a great companion piece to the studio albums, and is thus highly recommended for anyone who has ever heard any of the work by this incredible band. DRG. 2005.
