Lejos. No Tan Lejos.
Hello Seahorse! broke through Mexico City's competitive indie rock scene with last year's seminal disc 'Bestia.' The critically-acclaimed album was spotlighted with a variety of major accolades including two Latin GRAMMY nominations, iTunes Latino "Best New Artist" nod and multiple MTV Latin America music video awards. For their new album, 'Lejos, No Tan Lejos,' Hello Seahorse! enlisted Money Mark (of Beastie Boys fame) for production. Mark had originally invited the group to record at his home studio in Los Angeles after the band blew him away in a Mexico City concert.
