They make this pork free salami from lean boneless leg of lamb. This fabulous salami blends Rosemary with Garlic. This is a great option for those of you that do not eat pork. This uncured salami contains no added nitrates or nitrites, except those naturally occurring in celery juice and sea salt. UNCURED is an unfortunate term created by the FDA that simply means that the product is free of chemical nitrates & nitrites. It does NOT mean that the salami is not dry cured. This salami will keep just as long as conventional dry salami. These are vacuum sealed under the brown paper. This is a shelf stable product. Refrigerate after opening.
