Lab Companion AAH13125K Vacuum Oven 2.3 cu. ft; 230 VAC
A vacuum oven is an excellent choice when lack of atmosphere or inert atmosphere is needed, for applications such as desiccating, outgassing, vacuum drying, and plating. In a vacuum oven, heat is conducted from the side walls of the chamber to the sample. Vacuum ovens can dry samples without the oxidation or residue that may result with other ovens. Separate vacuum and vent ports allow greater control of vacuum rates. Vacuum levels are maintained by a tightly sealed door gasket and push-button latch. Block heaters and anodized aluminum plate shelves provide uniform heating throughout the oven chamber. What's Included: 3 aluminum plate shelves and 230 VAC power cord. Feature wide temperature range for a variety of test applications Perform a variety of applications from moisture determination, aging test, and sterilization to solvent separation under controlled atmosphere conditions Ideal for separating solvents from a solution without high-temperature drying Heat-tempered full-view window allows continuous monitoring of chamber User-friendly digital control panel simplifies operation
