Koyo USA 6218 2RDTC3 GXM Koy Ball Bearing, 90 mm Bore Size, 160 mm Outer Diameter, 6.2992" Width
The Koyo 6200 series is a deep groove ball bearing made from quality vacuum-degassed high carbon chromium bearing steel resulting in superior bearing life. Due to the deep groove geometry the bearing can withstand high speeds, radial loads, and axial loads. Also, with standard ABEC 1 precision tolerances and larger C3 clearance bearings maintain alignment and stability even at higher temperatures (120 degrees C/248 degrees F). The 6200 series bearings utilize steel or polyamide cages to equally separate balls. This ensures loads are distributed evenly and reduces friction, increase speed, and dampens noise and vibration. In addition, the series provides options for a sealed bearings or unsealed bearings. Sealed bearings utilize a shield or rubber seal to keep contaminates such as dirt and grime out and lubricant in and are packed with Mobil Polyrex EM for lifetime lubrication. Unsealed bearings allow for in place lubrication addition and replacement. The Koyo 6200 series can be used in various applications including transmissions, electric motors, pumps, robots, and gear boxes. Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open and shielded bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan. Rolling bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural machinery to conveying equipment, robotics, dental equipment, elevators, rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, and aggregate crushers, among others.
