CompactFlash Type II is thicker than standard CompactFlash (Type I) and is NOT backward compatible with standard CompactFlash enabled devices. Your device MUST be CF Type II compatible or this adapter will not fit. Please note this adapter will not accelerate the insterted card, it only converts the real speed of the card.
