Kirisun PT3600 - Entry Level & Easy to Use. The Kirisun PT3600 is a great entry-level radio. It's simple to use, affordable, small, and rugged enough for normal day-to-day use. It is also tested to MIL-STD-810 C, D, and E standards for ruggedness. It has a full 4 watts of power on the UHF model, and 5 watts on the VHF model. The Kirisun PT3600 has a number of features that make it easy to use. There is a Channel Announce feature, press a button and you can hear what channel you are currently operating on, handy for workers who can't take their eyes off the job. It can send a PTT ID using DTMF signaling to identify callers. The radio is VOX ready, meaning you can attach a hands-free headset. You can program a Battery Check button to indicate which one of 4 battery charge levels you have remaining. There are 2 power modes (high and low), it will automatically revert to low when not in use to conserve your battery life. The PT3600 has a full 1,000mW of audio power. This means it can be heard in some of the noisiest areas over equipment and other loud noise. The generous sized nobs on the top are easy to handle even when wearing gloves. The PT3600 is tested for dust protection and water resistant and has a rating of IP54. *NOTE: Some features and frequencies must be programmed into the radio to function.
