Kimble 14000B-600 Glass Low Form Griffin Beaker with Double Capacity Scale, 50-500mL Graduation Interval, 600mL Capacity, 50mL Graduation, Blue (Case of 6)
The Kimble Kimax KG-33 borosilicate glass, round, Griffin-style, graduated beaker with spout has blue double-scale markings and is available in a variety of sizes (50-, 100-, 150-, 250-, 400-, 600-mL). It is made of clear KG-33 borosilicate glass for durability and chemical- and temperature-resistance. The beaker has a blue matte-finish marking area designed for use with an ordinary pencil, and meets requirements for the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) E960, Type I, and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E438, Type I, Class A, Stand Specification for Glass in Laboratory Apparatus. KG-33 borosilicate glass has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, very high resistance to chemical attack, and heavy walls that minimize the risk of mechanical breakage when heat is applied. Beakers are used for measurement, quality testing, sampling, and research, and in lab applications in chemistry, education, research, and life science applications.
Kimble Chase Life Science and Research Products manufactures scientific laboratory glassware under the Kimble Kimax brand. The company, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Vineland, NJ, has its origins in Kimble Glass and Kontes Glass, and is now a division of The Gerresheimer Group.
