The RS-Series offers a more affordable option for those who seek genuine KICKER high-end performance from their mobile-audio system. The RS65.2 (featuring a 6.5-inch midrange woofer) let their primary sound flow through speakers that use a polyimide former and copper-clad aluminum wire to help decrease hot temperatures within the motor. Cast-aluminum baskets with nickel-plated, spring-loaded terminals provide additional protection and result in a more durable driver and higher power handling. Each system’s one-inch, high-end tweeter pair with advanced DuPont Tetoron elliptical domes can be installed in a flush, angled, surface, or coaxial mount, the latter allowing the installer to remove aluminum phase plugs from the midrange speakers’ centers and screw in special adapters and tweeters. RS-Series tweeters exude a wider dispersion pattern for greatly increased detail in high frequencies.Redesigned crossovers make RS Component Systems more flexible and reliable than ever, and they look great in a custom install. Configuration choice rests with the listener – the new 2-way bi-ampable passive crossovers have 18 dB/ octave highpass and 12 dB/ octave lowpass filters at 3.5kHz to optimize output.
