K’NEX Education – Forces, Energy, and Motion Set – 442 Pieces – Ages 10+ Engineering Educational Toy
With the K’NEX Education Forces, Energy, and Motion Set, students can learn the basics of engineering while having fun at the same time!
This building toy consists of 442 parts and pieces that are made from sturdy plastic. These include rubber bands, connectors, cogs, gears, springs, batteries, and a fly-wheel motor. The parts are securely stored in a durable tray with a snap-on lid so that the contents won’t spill easily.
The pieces are suited for creating 11 types of vehicles, up to four at a time. With the provided instructions and illustrations, students can create complex toys such as a motorized race car, a wind sail, a motorbike, and many more. This educational classroom kit can be used by 12 to 16 students grouped into three to four teams at a time.
Made for classroom use, this K’NEX building toy teaches kids about STEM concepts such as Newton’s laws of motion, energy transfer, friction, and inertia. The toy can be used for different scientific experiments and to demonstrate how physics and mechanics work. It promotes hands-on learning and inquiry-based projects, thus increasing student engagement and participation. Plus, the kids can have fun by competing in friendly races once they build their vehicles. The colorful designs promote imaginative play and can inspire students to build and design their own automobiles in the future.
The Teacher’s Guide and experiment instructions that are included with this educational playset comply with national standards like ITEEA, NSES, NCTM, NGSS, and Common Core to ensure that students learn about math and science. The instruction manuals were prepared by expert educators.
The K’NEX Forces, Energy, and Motion playset is designed for educators who want to teach the STEM subjects in an engaging manner and for students who are looking for a tool to easily understand concepts like inertia and friction.
