The trigger system provides a simple point and shoot style of shooting not possible when using the camera on its own or on a pole. With the camera positioned in front of your hand you will experience improved stability, control, and subject acquisition. The lightweight 8.1 oz GP3 v2 features a NEW machined polymer handle with non-slip inserts, corrosion resistant military grade aluminum, and stainless steel construction. These design elements allow it to be used in the harshest environments. It also includes 3 standard "-20 threads for use with accessories including lights, wireless monitors, mics, and additional cameras. The GoPro Hero 3+ camera can be used with the GP3 v2 Trigger when housed in the GoPro Hero 3/dive housing. The GP3 v2 Trigger is compatible with the GoPro Hero 3 Battery BacPac and LCD Touch BacPac.
