Journey's End
The Enid, infamous for producing more than three decades of unique Symphonic Rock music, brings yet another fantastic album to the table. 'Journey's End' offers a roller coaster ride of dynamic thrills, heroically bridging the gap between rock and classical. Founding composer, Robert John Godfrey opens his arms wide to the new generation, inviting a multitude of ideas from co-writer Max Read. With much of The Enid's earlier work being instrumental, the vocals offer an exciting new element to Journey's End, as cryptic lyrics paint adventures across a chaotic universe. The Enid is best remembered for work such as: 'In the Region of the Summer Stars', 'Aerie Faerie Nonsense' and 'Something Wicked This Way Comes'. Journey's End is the first in a trilogy of albums, followed by Invicta in November 2012. The bonus tracks introduce new vocalist Joe Payne with fresh re-recordings of 80s tracks 'Summer' and 'Something Wicked This Way Comes'.
