It has a three-position slider to adjust the distance from eyes to lens, a crown strap adjustment to raise or lower the helmet, and a large ratchet with a soft rubber grip that allows size adjustment without removing the helmet. This headgear locks into a detent when the helmet is lifted, helping to keep it in the upward position until the welder lowers it. A sweatband helps absorb perspiration.
