Iwatani Cb-p-y3 BBQ Plate (Large)
Instructions for safe use
*Please do not heat the product when there is no liquid inside it. There is risk of the fluorine coating causing burns as well as a risk of the product deforming.
*Always place within a saucer filled with water. Furthermore, if the water runs low while you are still using the item, please refill the water and do not leave it unsupervised. If the water runs out a large amount of smoke may be emitted, and ingredients or fat in the vicinity are liable to catch fire.
*When cooking fatty items (such as pork ribs), a large amount of fat may accumulate in the saucer and overflow. In that case quickly remove the fat. If you fail to remove the fat it is liable to catch fire.
*The item is likely to become very hot while in use and in the immediate aftermath of its use, so do not touch it with your bare hands. Take special care to make sure that children do not touch this item while in use.
*Be careful as depending on the gas stove you use, the item may deform and slip off.
*When you move this item, always use oven gloves and take adequate precautions to avoid burns.
*The first time you use this item, make sure to warm up the plate slightly and cover it with salad oil; once that has been mixed in you can use the item.
*Metal cooking implements (such as spatulas) can damage the plate's fluorine coating, which can then come off entirely. Please only use cooking implements made from wood or heat-resistant rubber.
*To prevent sticking and the deterioration of the fluorine coating, please use the medium heat setting at most.
