Keep an Eye on Bath/Pool Water Temperature
As a responsible, caring parent, you want the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your children's bath is just the right temperature. Extreme temperatures aren't just uncomfortable; they may pose health risks to children. Inviting the waterproof Ivation Bluetooth Remote Water Thermometer into your home will help you obtain such peace of mind. It measures water temperatures at all times, and works equally well in the tub, in indoor or outdoor pools, and in most other bodies of water. The thermometer also records the minimum and maximum daily temperatures for easy future reference.
Pair with your Device for Readings & Alerts
Your purchase of this Ivation thermometer includes a FREE download of the RPT app on the App Store. The app turns your Phone into a remote controller and display unit for information gathered by the thermometer. You can even set up an alert for when the water reaches a specific temperature. The two devices communicate over Bluetooth 4.0 low energy, and are programmed to automatically reconnect when your mobile device comes back into range. 2 included AAA batteries provide power for the thermometer, and your device notifies you when they run low.
Problem Spot? Fasten Thermometer w/Included String
When monitoring larger water bodies such as indoor or outdoor pools, you may identify a particular problem spot. Cracks in the concrete or areas that are in the shade may result in varying temperatures within the same water body. Even bathtubs can have uneven temperatures, particularly under the water faucets. To keep the thermometer in one place, your purchase includes the oldest of fastening devices - a piece of string! Simply tie it down and go on to focus on whatever else is important i.e. preparing dinner, doing laundry, etc. The thermometer will provide you updates in selectable °C or °F.
