IontoPatch - STAT - Box of 6. - Model 564091
IontoPatch 80 and IontoPatch SP. Self-contained, ultra-thin battery technology eliminates the need for external batteries or wires. The IontoPatch and IontoPatch SP are prepared by the clinician and applied to the patient in the clinic. Wireless technology allows patients to return to their daily activities or continue with therapy while receiving time-released iontophoresis. The Iontopatch and Iontopatch SP are designed to shut off automatically when the prescribed dose has been administered. More Drug Delivered Low-current of the IontoPatch eliminates the need for buffering agents Competing ions from buffering agents can significantly reduce delivery efficiency More drug present in tissue following IontoPatch delivery versus commercially-buffered electrode delivery More Drug Remains Local Infra-red temperature studies demonstrate high-current Iontophoresis increases blood flow during drug delivery2 - Laser Doppler Images support this demonstration (figure below) Low-current iontophoresis allows for drug to remain local and produce a significantly greater magnitude of localized effect 2 More Patients Improve Low-current iontophoresis produces a longer duration of localized effect2 Randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study with IontoPatch demonstrates significantly improved clinical outcomes (publication pending) 1 Reference: Birch Point Medical Inc.; All data on file 2 Anderson CR, et al.
