Innovating Science Physical Properties of Glass Kit
Innovating Science chemistry kit is used to study the physical properties of glass, and has activities for determining the different chemical and physical characteristics and properties of glass, and how they can provide evidence to solve crimes. For hands-on learning, the kit has materials for 15 groups of students, including borosilicate glass beads, flint glass beads, soda-lime glass beads, refractive index solutions, and magnifiers. The kit has a teacher’s manual and student study guide copymasters for instructional use, and a material safety data sheet (MSDS) packet for product information and handling procedures. The kit is suitable for age 13 and older with adult supervision, and is not subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) shipping restrictions.
