Infinity Tools 23-PLY, 3-Wing Slot Cutter, 15/64" Kerf With 5/16" Bore, Plywood Panel Conversion Kit
The problem is that " veneered plywood is not really " thick. In fact, it's closer to 15/64" depending on where you buy it. When making real wood cabinet doors many people like the look of a center flat panel made from high quality veneered plywood. But if you use a standard Rail & Stile set to produce the door frame the tongue and groove you will get will be " thick, making the undersized plywood panel rattle and roll in the door fame. We've got a solution to this age-old problem. Now you can make beautiful and accurate flat panel doors with our undersized plywood slot cutter, 23-PLY. Designed to be used in conjunction with our Rail & Stile cutters, items 91-501 through 91-505 and our 1-piece R & S cutter, item 91-521. To use: replace the 1/4" slot cutter that comes on your stile bit with this 15/64" kerf slot cutter. Then, take out one shim from underneath your rail cutter assembly so the rail end will be the same size (15/64") as your stile groove. This cutter features 3 micro-grain carbide edges for a smooth cut and is designed with an anti-kickback shoulder that prevents your bit from 'biting-back'. Slot cutter only.
