Imperial Royal Hawaiian Limited Edition Teardrop Weissenborn Style Lap Steel Guitar

We are very happy to present the Imperial Guitars Royal Hawaiian Limited Edition Teardrop, a project our buddies at Imperial Valley Guitars have just brought back into production due to popular demand.

For the Royal Hawaiian Limited Edition Teardrop, they started with their original innovation, the extra deep body, and added "rope" binding to the top, back, fingerboard and headstock. The rope binding, as any Weissenborn nut will tell you, is just the coolest thing ever. Plus it's really hard to make, so we hope you'll appreciate it.

Then they added a premium Fishman Sonicore under saddle pickup with their deluxe Presys+ preamp system. This system features 4 bands of EQ as well as a notch filter for feedback busting and a phase switch, which is another tonal variable that is particularly useful for adding some extra fullness at low volumes. The + part of Presys+ is the built-in tuner, always handy in any case, but especially if you're going to be changing tunings in the middle of a set.

The 2015 Teardrop LTD features all of Imperial's newest deluxe features:
• Rosewood Mustache bridge
• Bound headstock with rosewood overlay
• Inlaid pearl diamond position markers
• Superb high ratio gold "violin" tuners with ebony buttons

There aren't any. This Limited Edition Teardrop comes with everything they've got, including the Fishman pickup system.
