Imogene Smith is a woman who definitely needs to fasten her seatbelt because she’s in for a bumpy ride! She’s smart, she’s better than average looking, she’s forty-eight years old and she soon learns that not everything is what it appears to be. In one day, she receives three phone numbers, on three napkins no less, that change the course of her life.

Her journey from freshly minted, brassy divorcee to the strong, confidant woman she becomes, is full of pitfalls. Along the way, Imogene deals with immature office co-workers, her husband’s new girlfriend, the former mother-in-law, bridezillas, and a host of other characters that want to tell her how to run her life. Sometimes, it’s all she can do to keep her head above water! However, no matter what happens, Imogene handles what life throws at her with humor, aplomb, and some inspiration from her “Double-D’s!”
