The Ideal Industries TL-80 standard test lead set is for use with Ideal Industries Vol-Con and Vol-Test voltage testers (sold separately). The black and red probes with shielded probe tips connect to a 38" cable. The test lead set can measure a maximum of 10 amp and 1,000VAC, and it is rated for CAT (category) III installations to 600V, which covers equipment in fixed installations, such as switches in the fixed installation and some industrial equipment that is permanently connected to the fixed installation.
