Hultafors Throwing Axe, Wood

The Trowing Axe is a double-edged axe, hand-forged and made from Swedish axe steel using traditional methods in use since 1697. The steel is stuck several times, increasing its density and thereby the durability of the axe. Was originally designed as an axe for forest work, but is now primarily used in axe throwing competitions.

The Hultafors company is a Sweden-based, leading international brand specializing in state-of-the-art hand tools for construction and industry. The company started in 1883 with the invention and production of the folding rule (still made today) that facilitated Sweden converting to the Metric system.
