Hotwheels Designers Challenge 7 Car Set by Mattel

The Designer's Challenge program was created as a way for Hot Wheels to actively include its automotive partners in its 40th anniversary celebration by challenging them to create exclusive designs for a brand new line. It is the first time Mattel has ever turned outside the company for original Hot Wheels designs. The challenge for each automotive manufacturer was to create a Hot Wheels car that truly captures the brand's core values of speed, power, performance and attitude, while also retaining the distinct attributes of each company's brand essence. This set features all seven cars in a special display unit and is limited to no more than 10, 000 units: Ford's Gangster Grin, GM's Chevroletor, Honda Racer, Lotus Concept, Mitsubishi Double Shotz, Dodge XP-07 and our own HW40 blend high-end automotive design with Hot Wheels fun and excitement.
